All my gemstones are stated as,treatments,or unknown.Heated,Flusite filled,LGF-Lead glass filled, none of my gemstones listed are treated by latter,Tanzanite is always heated to remove browns, yellows and other undesired inclusions . I do disclose any known treatments, otherwise its considered untreated..I am self-taught amature gemologist and deal in colored stones, only.I am a antiquities dealer with over 40 years in business. I also buy and sell general antiques and period furniture (1580-1950)...I read and study a great deal,so i am usually accurate when asked a question. I deal in photographic Equipment from 1837 to 1992, photos, and rare films.

Michael is honest in his representation of gemstones and is a man of his word. When he tells you a gemstone is guaranteed to the best of his knowledge and you take it to an appraiser who says different, Michael is going to do the right thing by you. His explanation of FL & IF etc. is completely accurate. ////he is self taught, but that does not mean he does not know gemstones. I won a very valuable gemstone from him and I DO KNOW.

I am Jewish,so why should I not share my great finds? I am gifted the ability to find items one normally could ill afford, but to share your wealth, shows you are not greedy, unlike what people think of most Jews, its the wrong readings

As far as value, I would not have a clue. Not saying I don't believe you, but when it comes to something like that, I would have to take it to an appraiser. My brother has his hands full right now carrying my sister in law back and forth to doctors. She is having a really hard time with MS right now. Everything is mute unless I win. So we shall see.

Crookedman, I think maybe you can trust this guy, he says he'll do "the right thing" - and has a "No Questions" asked , return policy. So I wouldn't be very concerned. I guess the real question is, is how high will Ms. Walker "power bid" ??? I think I will have to consult my crystal ball..Lol!!

The rhodiolite was put in, by accident, that went out....I am losing my eyesight, I can factually tell you,I am a gemologist and know more then you do,if you can prove me wrong then prove it by being the highest bidder and you will receive the Flawless Ruby,in the 1st picture

I will probably stop at 100,000 credits, because that is about $125 in credits if you buy them. Sis will give me a great one if I tell her I want one of hers. She is always offering me gemstones. She has a whole room filled with equipment and microscope and tools and stuff to cut and polish gems. She hasn't used any of it in over a year now. My brother put the torches and soldering stuff where she can't reach it. She has drawers filled with trays of little jars of gemstones. She keeps all the diamonds and good ones in a bank vault. You can't see them there. She says the insurance won't cover them. She should sell them.

i agree,if they are for investment sell, them while the market is hot, i do not blame you for stopping at 100,000. i do not expect to go that high, however one never knows

I am not going to mess with the penny anti bidding anymore. I have a small max bid in now, but will wait and power bid on Saturday night. I love the last hour when all the silent watchers show their hand. That is when the power bidders come in. This one will go well over the 100,000 credits you thought it should open at. I thought about it and decided you are going to get your credits out of this one. I am doing a pretty good job with just one bidder. My brother showed me a note you wrote about how aggressive "Sis" is with bidding. I'll make you a bet. Somebody's going to a GA meeting Sunday night. LOL
This sure is a fun auction. I am enjoying it. Just sit back and watch. Tic Toc Tic Toc.

I have some of the best buys you can ever find,,if I get them cheap,i pass on the deal to people who would never otherwise get the chance to get them at a dealer with cash, bartering is the better way. Gold,is no exception to the rule, same with silver, deals i pass on to others. I have had .86 point diamonds for less then $75.00 certified! Orange, green, yellow diamonds to .35 points each, gold and diamond rings in platinum, and 1 very rare .27 point red diamond mine cut in platinum.

My sister in law has the same problem with her eyes. Anyone that goes to see her has to make sure her pill cases are filled with the right pills for the week. She has morning, noon, evening and night compartments. Some of her medicine comes in same size container and 3 of them, the pills are the same size. She has a whole drawer filled with medicine bottles. So when I saw the garnet and noticed the color was wrong then read the label, it all added up. No worries.

Do you know if this ruby is fissure filled? Many rubies from Mozambique have been treated in this manner.

My sister in law, Elaine Walker told me to bid on this ruby. She is low on credits. She showed me that opal. OMG! She is working on wire wrapping it in gold with accenting gemstones as a pendant. My brother has to help her. Her vision is really bad. She knows designs in her head and explains it all. She can still work with the gold wires and my brother helps her get the stones in how she wants. It is almost finished. She worked with gemstones and artifacts (Indian arrowheads, etc.), since she was a really young girl. Her father got her started with it. Anyway, It is on my watch list and I'll bid near the end of the auction. I am a King of the Hill bidder and I want to see how many levels I can get. I always fight the last hour. If someone fights me, I can get another level. I may put a bid in sooner and then fight . I am thinking about it.

OMG there is a bid on it and its 22,000 bid, this should be listed at 110,000,but u know me. I am open and honest,do not pull anything on others,so I would never expect others to try it,got a bid last night on Star of David 14 kt Gold earrings of 1 credit.Too me that,s and intent to steal and made mention of it in a commentary.

AMEN to that. You are preaching to the choir. This is a far under valued stone. Opening bid should have been 100,000 credits. Absolutely King of colored gemstones and I will ask my sister in law to bid on last day. She has been wanting a ruby.
