How Much of a starter of the Plant to you Get? and also,how do you ship it? In other words wrap it with dirt and water or as is? thanks so Much! Lovely Plant

I will send a rhizome wrapped in damp paper . It is pretty hardy

Wow, I have not seen one of these for years and years. Had one about 40 years ago and let me tell you they don't call it "cast iron plant" for nothing! Good to see it again! This is a great house plant. I say house plant because where I live (Mi) EVERYTHING is a house plant!!! This plant won't take less than about 50 degrees as most plants won't so inside they come in the fall! Good to see this plant again Great auction!

I've had them for year. They are low maintenance .Mine are out side and it gets colder than 50 here. This last year down to around 15 and they survived, but they are in the ground. In a pot they probably would not I have aloe that survives in the ground but not in the pot and I almost lost the ones in the ground this year.
But they are easy to grow Either way. But I would bring them in in Mi .
