I love this color. I haven't seen it before. Is it common in your part of the world?

This color is uncommon. It's gaining popularity because it's so unusual but is still not seen very often. The picture really doesn't do it justice, either!

Hollyhocks are one of my most favorite flowers, showy and beautiful but SO easy and carefree! I fanned you back as well...

I have never staked mine. We get some pretty fierce winds late summer so some will fall a bit but mostly they do well on their own. Mine get to be about 5-6 feet tall.

I don't stake the shorter stockier plants but will stake the really tall more slender ones just to keep them from falling. They do OK without, just my preference : ) I do have another of these listed as well...
