These are not all the exact same fabrics, but are comparable. They are calicos purchased at jo an fabrics within the past 3 yrs
May 23rd, 2011 at 6:02:53 AM PDT by
Original
that would be 8 different prints. If you want a limit of 4, for example, let me know and I will do my best to oblige

Could any of them be around 10" -ish squares? I'm wanting to try my hand at my first quilt and that is what I need for it. Obviously I don't mind trimming down if I need to but that is around what I'm looking for. :-)

Original
are you doing a charm quilt or a scrappy quilt? The reason I ask is for the selection if you are the winner. The squares will be at least 10". I will be posting some more listings today. One will be all baby print fabrics; enough for a baby quilt and it will be 8 1/2 " squares.

I'm not really sure. The quilt pattern I'm wanting to do is called hexagon park. It's a free one I found online that looks kind of like a honey comb. I'd like to do it with nice vibrant colors. Idealy I would pick florals, birds, and paisleys or maybe bees since it looks like a honey comb. :-)

Thanks for the heads up on the other auction. I'll take a look at it. Who knows maybe it will be my second quilt. :-)

Hexagon quilts are a lot of fun. Since this is a first quilt I am only going to make one comment. Make sure the fabric is cut 'with the grain'. If you win one of my auctions, remind me and I will do all I can to oblige to make the new project easier. write when ever you have a question and I will do what I can to help. "Happy Quilting".

You're so sweet. THank you very much for the tip and the help. That's so kind of you. I'm excited to get started. I already bought some white on white floral calico to be the inbetween parts. I think the pattern I was looking at called them "pathways". I love snuggling up with afghans I've rescued from yardsales and thrift stores but I'm excited to snuggle with a quilt. Exspecially since it will have been made by me. :-)

I pulled some yardage out and I am ready to take photos. What kind of yardage do you need for the patterns? I have some soft blue with tiny white flowers, a similair that includes yellow flowers, then I have pink prints; all spring time. I also have novelty fabrics for quilts, etc.

there will be 6 pcs of fabric with a minimum size of a fat quarter. These are remnants left over from quilting. I am just grabbing 6 pcs and sending them out. They may be larger, but not less than the fat quarter size of 18x22

So this would be for 6 fat quarters, then? Sounds great!! I love that you have a selection to choose from, do any have very small prints? That's what I need as I make doll clothes. Thanks!

Yes, they are a minimum of a fat quarter. You will receive at least that. Remind me if you win that you would like the very small prints for doll clothes. np thanks for asking
