Also, where do you live so I know where this will be coming from and what exact shipping will be on this item? You get more bids when you offer free shipping, especially since you are new and have not established feedback yet to be or become a trusted Listian. Just a bit of advise, since I have been on this site a long time. At least for the first 10-15 auctions till people gain trust in you knowing you are going to ship after they win and pay for shipping.

Thanx for the info Dawn...no I haven't done the Bakelite test myself...I haven't a clue what I am doing on here and how much to even charge...read somewhat but was a bit confusing...I will use the free shipping from now on as I understand what you are saying...I have sold on Ebay for many years and offer free shipping there...I just put this one item to see what happens...I don't understand completely the credit thing yet....Thanx again...Caroline

So the shipping will be free on this auction? I want to clarify. I can help you a bit. You will receive the credit on this auction AFTER the winner/buyer states that they have received the item..this happens for at least the first 10 auctions, till you gain feedback as a 'trusted seller/Listian'. After that, you will receive the credits as soon as the auction is over and there is a winner, since you become seasoned and trusted as a seller. People tend to stear clear of auctions that have a shipping price, as it means they will have to send money some how. I do not have a paypal anymore and do not want one. I too, used to sell on ebay and hated it. I left and never looked back, hence the reason no more paypal. I did not like how they treated sellers unfairly with feedback, etc. I used to have a shop on there. Just clarify for me that this auction is free shipping? I know it can be sent 1st class for under $4, I am sure. Thanks again. Welcome and good luck.

It takes time for you to get 'fans' and find what works for credits. Plus when you arre new, it takes time for people to bid on items, but offering free shipping helps for awhile til you get yourself established and have feedback and are not new anymore. It took me awhile. But I always offer free shipping, as it gets more bids. Gift cards are a great way to earn credits. You can ship codes right over the web, and not have to pay for shipping or if you do send the cards, it only costs you about the cost of a stamp. You make alot off of gift cards, way more in credits than they are worth. Hope that helps. Thank you.
