Description

The listing, Four O'Clock Seeds - Just collected - Your Choice of Color has ended.

I have light pink, a rose color, an electric hot pink that is breathtaking, or play the wild card and just go for a mixed package! The mixed package may or may not have some yellow seeds in it. I have collected some yellows this season, but accidentally tossed them into the "mixed" jar and not into their own separate jar.

Four O'Clocks bloom in the evening and overnight, and are some of the most amazingly fragrant blooms I've ever grown.

Hummingbirds love them, and will come to them in the evenings when they first open up.

They are amazingly easy to grow, and will reseed themselves so they will come back year after year with little effort. They prefer full sun, but I have some in a mostly shady spot that are still blooming away.

They are not too particular about where they grow, what type of soil, lighting, etc, but they do need to be watered regularly. They will start to wilt when they need to be watered, but perk back up shortly after.

This auction is for 10 seeds. Happy Bidding!

Please dont take this the wrong way-as I do not know you. But are you a long time gardener? That knows how & when to collect seeds?
I have gotten seed that seems to have been picked way too soon before it's ready-and it does not germinate.

Yes, I know the proper way and time to collect 4 O'Clock seeds. They are very user friendly flowers. I've grown them for years, and I have started to collect seeds to share with others instead of allowing them to disperse themselves from the flowers, as my 4 O'Clock beds have started overtaking my other perennial beds. They are quite prolific!

It's easy to determine the right time to collect 4 O'Clock seeds, as they are green when they are not ready, and turn to black when they are. I then allow them to thoroughly dry on paper towels for a week before storing them in paper bags.
