This is a brand new, never used generic ipod-look-alike mp3 player. This player will only play files that are in mp3 format. The capacity of the mp3 player is equal to that of the MicroSD card inserted ( a larger capacity MicroSd means more songs). I did rip the packaging a bit, when I was taking it out for photos. It comes with the usb cord, 128 mb MicroSD, earbud headphones and it clips onto your belt or pocket.

I do the same about using recycle materials when shippping, doesn't look profesional at all but hey, it's what inside that counts! The outside maybe will be trashed anyways and not only help the environment but keep our SHIPPING costs low, so we can continue offering FREE shipping, passing on the savings to the buyer! So recycle is COOL to me and glad you recycle too!

There's a lot of sites on the internet that you can get mp3's, whether for free or paid, including Amazon. But, yes, you can use the usb cable included to connect it directly to your computer and upload the files, whether you pay for the files or get them for free. I'm sure you can google or search on youtube 'how or where to get free mp3 files'
