The listing, Live Gorgeous Blue Succulent Plant Pretty Color Free Ship has ended.

I have seen one on listia - and it was in high demand. So when I saw ONE in a store - I grabbed it. I know there are a lot of other folks who love this type of succulent. It says succulent and it doesn't say painted, although it may be. I truly am not sure. It is a gorgeous blue and these pics don't do it justice. Pot matches. It can travel well in mail - is a sturdy, desert plant. Enjoy - a last chance for one! :)

This is my first offering - there was one from another seller in another state before this - so you can see they aren't individually painted. I think it would be hard to do - but you could give it a try. Would take a lot of talent - and as stated - I don't know if this is painted or natural but it is a beauty. Thanks. KEK

That is definately painted. Air Brushed more than likely.. Looks pretty cool though.

Thanks for stopping by. It is pretty - but it is not labeled. I got it from a local nursery - who could not tell me one way or the other if it was painted. It was the only blue one left - as these have been quite popular and are now sold out. :) KEK

Is it easy to grow? I need to know because my home is a hospice for plants. I try real hard but keeping anything alive is virtually impossible for me.

A succulent is easy in that it is a desert plant. It doesn't require much water - but does require light. Instruction say feed once a month, allow soil to dry before waterings. I hope I have answered your questions! :)

I Googled it and apparently they do use some spray on dye process on these, but they are pretty anyway;

I will add one more comment that for painted plants - the color often rubs off from the leaves or upon watering. I have one in a different color and no such thing has happened - which makes me think it is not painted. But again - please read everything above and decide if this gorgeous plant is for you. I love this and was going to use up all the credits for it but not so sure now after researching it..it is definately painted and im unsure to bid on it if its going to outgrow the color in time and be an ordinary green succulent..pretty right now but wont last..thanks for the honesty in your anwers however

Thanks - there is evidence up top that it is natural and other's opinions that it is painted. All the label says is succulent - so I don't know. It's gorgeous - and so if you don't think you will like it over time - I appreciate you stopping by. Best wishes on listia.

I used to work at a nursery where we did this - the plants are airbrushed when they're young so that as they open up the color gradates to the plants own natural color towards the center, making it look more flower like.

I researched and it is painted the last one I looked up the blue natural colors not nearly as bright and eye catching as this one

There are some that are natural with some red or purple edging or a purplish overall color, but not near as bright as this one in the listing. It looks like this plant is a variety of Echeveria;

Hi there. I was at work for over 12 hours and am just now getting to your question as this gorgeous plant is at home. IT is approx. 4 inches high with a wider top and 5 inches across - it's a nice size - but not too big. Would fit many places, including on a window sill. Thanks for your interest! KEK

I would say but may be wrong, that it has been painted (dyed) and not its natural color. Like they do on tropical fish.

It may be and it is a pretty, bright blue like you said. But it does not say on the label that the plant is painted so I can not be certain.
