They are a vine and you can put them any were even on the ground, you can cut them back and have them look like a bush so what ever you like you can do it with them, I have mine running on dog wire running on and around my swing, looks so nice. now shipping is not free but you can send a SASE or do pay pal and I will send them out to you.
