If you look closely at the pics you can see the name "monica" across the silver part of the mirror, you can clean this with one of those cleaning clothes you us on glasses for the lens, i don't have one now or i would use it or silver polish, only be careful and use a little at a time of the polish, to clean it!!

I believe that it may be sterling.. that being said, if it is won, and have it tested and it's not sterling, will credits be refunded?

I deal with people and their antique or vintage belongings all the time. I'd take her word also. I'm getting pretty good at determining sterling when it isn't marked. I also don't have any idea how much you know about it. I'm new and just happened across your mirror. I'd be glad to share if you're interested in my 2 cents.
