Up for auction is this marvelous silver ring size 7, stamped 925. The marquis cut cherry red garnet is fantastic. Four delicate irregular cut white fire opals and six round cut shiny white topaz make stripes on the sides of the main stone. Opal is the birthstone of October, garnet is that of January and topaz is that of November.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
