These footies are not for toddlers or adults. They are sized for school-age children. Please refer to the ruler which shows the length measurement unstretched. They are of medium thickness. The top of the socks will barely be visible over the shoe. The footies can also be worn as house slippers but there is no material on the bottom for creating friction. They would be slippery on hard wood floors.
