That's amazing you rescued him.. :) I love hearing these stories cause so many need good homes due to circumstances. I have a black and white female dog I got from the SPCA and my husband and I spoil these guys every chance we get, which s practically EVERY day. Lol

That's exactly how you pronounce it. :) Acailia can get bossy at times but then other times she is quiet natured. She is still discovering who she is and has a way to go to grow into herself. The puppy stage is tiring at times but well worth every minute. ;) Your dogs sound like so much fun and sound absoulitly adorable. I love the name Sundance. How did you come across it?

Hi Hvnablst, So I did hear back...they don't recall if they were given free rein to chose a Listia name. One lady did say that she recalls variations of her name being offered, but with numbers after- I guess like JaneSmith 032. I have it anyway so I'll stay with it. :)

Awww, thank you !! :) I love her soooo much.. ;) I have learned to shuffle my feet a lot in the last month.. Rofl But for the most part its always in the back of my mind shes there, and she chases my pant legs just as a reminder.. Lol Right at this moment she has a carrier she sleeps in at night for toilet training purposes, but when she is fully trained she will sleep in the bed with me and her sister.. :) Her height when she is fully grown will be aprox 15–25 cm (6–10 in) and her weight will be aprox 1.8–2.7 kg (4–6 lb) and they say purebred Chihuahua’s have a lifespan of aprox 12-20 years.. :)

That's weird. I just typed in a few sentences & pushed Reply, but my comments have vanished! I think Listia is trying to convince me I'm nuts!! Lol
I'm in Canada's capitol- Ottawa, Ontario.
I love California! !!! No snow, no cold freezing temperatures! I do believe we're all crazy to live in this climate!! About the only plus is we don't grow our spiders anywheres near as large as you guys do!!! :)
The Listia name thing has me intrigued. I'm going to ask the couple Canadians I've met.

I'm sure I would have remembered if they offered ideas. I looked around Listia before I joined & was coming up with some cool names. I saw that hardly no one uses their real name, & I didn't want to use mine. Buy that's what they gave me. Tho I've met only a couple Canadians on Listia, but their real name is used. I'll have to ask if they had a choice. Now I'm just curious. ;) You're American?

I love the old Newman/Redford movies. In Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, Sundance seemed a more playful character.
I looked @ my fella's face, & knew he was Sundance Kid!! Sundance is over 2 years now but I only got him when he was about one year. He came in thru GoodDog Rescue, a non profit I volunteer with. He looked @ me, & I knew he had to become part of the family!!

Everything you said is soooo true about our fur babies!! Mine have got me thru a lot of bad times & grief!
Despite Sundance 's size, your little one could boss him around!! I have a mixed breed...I just say she's a little white Foo Foo dog. Lol.
Her name is Pickles & she weighs less then 25 lbs. Still much larger then your baby! And she bosses Sundance around. In her head she thinks she's a shepherd...& in his head he thinks he's the size of your little girl! Hahaha

WOW !!! 115 pounds !!!! :O Mine is like maybe 2 pounds. I bet Sundance Kid loves to run being a german sheppard. They are so fun to spend time with and the best part is no matter how our day is, the remind us of unconditional love, joy, hugs and smiles. :) We are "Pet Parents. "
I came across the name Acailia just by searching on google. I was after something different and it took me a long time to find the right name but when I seen this one it just resonated with me.

Yes. His name is Sundance Kid & he's probably more of a lap dog then your little baby! & @ 115 pounds. Lol. Plus, he's the biggest baby around! Would like to see a pic of your teeny tiny little puppy. Cool name! I've never heard that before. How did you come to choose it?
