The last movie John Wayne made was the Shootist. It starred John Wayne, Lauren Bacall, Jimmy Stewart, and Ron Howard, among others. This movie actually has clips from John's early films, woven into the plot as what he remembers. Pretty awesome movie, and very special with the "flashbacks" having the actor as a young man. Excellent performances by all concerned, this movie is a must have for any John Wayne fan. I am not a John Wayne fan, but I have to say this is one of my favorite movies of all time.
