No I cannot say I never wore it , but turning your finger green is a chemical reaction you can even have gold or silver turn your fingers green it depends on the acidity , there also seems to be some conflict of information , but I do know real 14KT gold could even turn my mothers fingers green. I really think the only thing for sure is Rhodium plated from what I've read and if you don't take proper care , it will come off with things like cleaners and perfume I think I read .But at any rate if you have problems with this I probably wouldn't take a chance , unless you want to see online what you can seal it with (like maybe clear nail polish or polyurethane possibly (but don't quote me on that! Do Google it!! I am sure there are sealants that will make just about any jewelry ok to wear for you. Meanwhile here is a link (just one of many, you can pick whichever you want to follow, but as I say some people just have reactions (I don't think it's allergies, those cause itching ad rashes) http://www.healthcentral.com/skin-care/c/1443/151389/turns-jewelry/ and if you do decide to bid , and you find it turns you finger green you can just repost it on Listia, it may not bother other people. (And it maybe rhodium plated, but there is just no way I can tell, it isn't marked, I think I was very clear to say that. I have no idea what metal or what stone it is.Sorry , wish I could tell!

Also it isn't false advertising because I did say Diamond with a question mark ,meaning I don't know , it could be CZ , white Topaz, or a number of other stones, or even glass. And same with the metal I said WGP , because that would be my guess , white gold plate (the color looks to me a little warmer in tone than rhodium which has a slightly blueish cast,) but I am not a jeweler. And I know even jeweler's use diamond testers and acids to test metals , even when a piece is fully marked(you really can't trust marks either these days.) I actually paid very high amount for what was purported to be a solid gold ring , stamped , too , but the jeweler did a test before my eyes and it wasn't real , just plated brass. (He even thought it was real! Until he did the test.) This ring is the color of white gold plate , but I cannot tell you whether it actually is or not. Without testing , it's a pretty ring, at a great price, no promises.

Here's another article, click this link, it does suggest nail polish , I would assume that wears off, so you might need to redo it now and again, but what's interesting is it says the lotions you use might also affect it , so if you are finding this happens with a lot of rings or jewelry , maybe try changing your soap or lotions , too

I would suggest this would make a nice"Promise" ring if one intends to get married , but cannot afford a high end diamond engagement ring. It can be worn on a necklace , or given as a gift of "pre- engagement. A promise ring is given as a gift of love, to say the person is intending to marry another (but it's a good idea to let the person know this may or may not be a ring of value, but only a ring as an expression of monogamy, that two people are committed to each other and no one else). With a "promise" of a later diamond engagement ring.If a couple agrees to do this , sometimes both will give rings to each other(the girl can also give the man a ring, but it's proper for the man to give his first.Though it isn't unheard of that the lady can also do it first).Often young couples give promise rings if they are under legal age for marriage, or not yet in a financial situation (job, home, ect) just as an expression of intent and love.
