That's how it was advertised when I bought it. I did not have it tested. When received didn't fit so I relisted it also saying it was purchased from listia. So it very well could be sterling... Just because I don't see a stamp does not mean its not real.. oh and there are plenty of items stamped these days that are NOT real. So thank you for your input.
