7 ingredients + powdered sugar, one bowl mixing, and even the wee ones can make these with some help "from the bigs" with the oven. Kiddos like the idea of smashing things up as well, so the crushing of the potato chips can be left to them as well, which can be, when supervised, fun for all. They are crazy litle cookies. this is my GrandMa's recipe, and a cookie I remember being very well loved at her house at Christmas every year. My sister and I lived 600+ miles from her, so never got to make them with her, but we certainly did enjoy gobbling them up when we arrived!
Like anything else, ease of assembly is a matter of perspective. as far as kids go, this and the one other recipe you bid on of mine are on the "sure, get the kids involved" side of what I've got. I'f you're looking for a recipe for any particular cookies, or would just like some child helper friendly ones, let me know, and in the future, i'll try to comment on the listings if they are "kid helper friendly" or not. Thanks for the comment! ~JR
