Description

The listing, Beautiful New Turquoise, Amethyst, Pearl, & Sterling Pendant has ended.

Ok, I have put off listing this because I'm afraid it won't get enough bids for what it's worth. So here it is! This is a .925 sterling silver pendant with turquoise that is purple, blue, and gold. It also has a pearl and an amethyst. It has beautiul cut work in the bail. It measures 3" from the top of the bail to the bottom and is 3/4" wide. If bids hit 3000 I will throw in a sterling silver chain.

Amethyst is the official birthstone for February. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz and the most valued member of the quartz family. It is found inside geodes and in alluvial deposits all around the world and occurs in both crystalline or massive forms. When manganese is present in clear quartz amethyst is produced, while the amount of iron contained in the specimen accounts for the depth of purple.Throughout history amethyst has been used to guard against drunkenness and is thought to be helpful in overcoming addiction. It has been used for hearing disorders, insomnia, headaches and other pain. Some sources suggest it is used to stabilize mental disorders.
Worn to make the wearer gentle and amiable. Amethyst powers include: dreams, healing, peace, love, spiritual upliftment, courage, psychism, protection against thieves, and happiness.

Turquoise is the one of the official birth stones for the month of December. For centuries, the most valuable turquoise came from Iran (Persia) but today some specimens mined in the southwestern United States compete with it. Turquoise attracts money, success and love. Its powers include protection, healing, courage, friendship, and luck. Relaxes the mind, and eases mental tension.

Turquoise is sacred to many Native American's and was carved in the shape of animals and birds. These carvings were placed in the Indians tombs to attract beneficial spirits and to guard the dead. Turquoise was also used by medicine men for healing and by warriors who fixed turquoise to the end of their bows to insure accurate shots.

I built a little building in the indoor flea market at Lawton and stayed there with my jewelry for a few months. After awhile I saw I couldn't count on that, so I took second hand things and put them on the outside of it. I had $80.00 a month rent on it on top of driving 60 miles round trip each time. It just didn't work out. Wasn't paying enough to go. I sure hope you have better luck than I did. People are so poor right now, they just aren't spending money. I had dumped a lot of money in this jewelry for it to not work out. I live in a small town so there's nowhere to sell it.
You were talking about selling the candles. I was on here looking to see if anyone had listed a Scentsy burner. Tomorrow is my birthday. My sister came over while I was looking for the burner and brought me a birthday presant. It was a Scentsy burner and scent bars. I told her that couldn't have been a better gift.

wow!! i just sold 3 scentsy warmers. i used to be a consultant, but it got soo flooded here that it was hard to make commission money, thats why i just started doing it on my own. Met a woman at the Burk flea market that makes her own scents. But yea i know what u mean, I have a website started but i dont know that much about computer stuff and i was having hell getting it up, Got frustated and i stopped trying to build it, need to get back to it i paid for the yr. lol and its soo hot now not many ppl get out. and i too have been bringing in garage sale things to supplement the booth. barely makeing monthly rent, but i will hang in till it cools off and see what happens. I do have a face book page for it tho. and yes i poured alot of money into product and rent ect. woow its just crazy. now you make beautiful jewerly and i have made some in the past soo i think i wil do some things for the booth, what dont sell for real money i will list on here, if u want to try some of my scents when u run out let me know and can discuss it another time

Sure! If there is some way we could trade that for some jewelry that would be neat. I started a web site with my jewelry on Vistaprint. I paid by the month $23.00 {I think} and had it up for 6 months and didn't sell 1 thing. The thing about starting a web site is that nobody knows about it. Vistaprint said they were advertising on yahoo and google. But, apparently that wasn't enough. I had to give it up after 6 months. Sold nothing and paid rent! And, I barely priced my jewelry over what I had in it. I see people pay more for cheap bling than I sell mine for. And that's just a fad right now. When the fad is over they will have nothing. Silver is higher than it's ever been and is going up. The silver and natural stones will never go out. We see people all the time go to Goodwill and pay $4.00 for a shirt. We have a garage sale and they won't pay .50 cents. I just don't get people.
