Out of all my tobacco seeds, these are the finest. They have a extremely high germination rate and are quite hardy. These seeds have such a high yield, I'm considering taking up smoking to help thin the crops!

I am a smoker, as is my whole family. I have told them all that we need to start growing and rolling our own cigarettes. Might as well start now!!! Bidding and fanning you : )

Thanks Molly a lot of people are trying this route -fanned you back. If you spend some time online you can find some interesting suggestions for growing particular blends for different taste preferences, for example I'm growing the havanna gold, virginia, a burley and a hopi sacred tobacco. I'm also going to use the havanna to try and roll some cigars as gifts ( I don't have high hopes for that though, I hear cigar rolling is a pretty difficult task).

p.s. Bidders: of particular note is the fact that this is GOLD LEAF Havanna not just Havanna there is a HUGE difference. The flavor of the gold leaf is exceptional and the seeds are some of the most hardy tobacco I have planted. I planted Basic Virginia and Havanna . I planted the same amount of each . Five weeks later, I have 10 to 15 times as many Havanna seedlings. Also, the Havanna seedlings are so tough, they have endured their first series of monsoon storms with no damage - I would not dream of doing this with the other seedlings.

Personally, I do not smoke but members of my family do, so I've been working on creating blends to suit them and help save them $$$. There a bunch of online communities where you can find good growing tips and chats. There are pretty strict rules restricting the sale of tobacco by private parties, however you can barter.
