She is definately protective of me. Womans dog for sure. Figure she was beat by a man. An of course she is spoiled. :)

They are such loving dogs. Although I call mine my kids. We also have a lil dog. Have joined a couple of the shepherd groups on facebook to. Anything to learn about them :)

That's good,we had a Black Lab when we got our Shepherd 7 yrs. ago but had to have him put down last year in August (he was 15yrs.old) we miss him so much he was a rescue we adopted when he was 2yrs.old. My Shepherd has had a hard time adjusting w/out him around so we now take him a few times a wk. to "Doggie Daycare" so he can play and be around other dogs.

Don't blame you,it's so hard because I know we just didn't want to let him go but knew it was time and had to do the right thing for him.It certainly isn't an easy decision at all.

She keeps hanging on. Every time we think its time, she bounces back. But not in pain. So we keep waiting.

Our Dino hung on for quite awhile,the vet had him on Prednisone to help with his appetite,his walking was getting bad and he couldn't get upstairs anymore,he'd have accidents in the house,would get confused and pace a lot just all the signs of "It's time" to let him go ):
