This is a hand beaded Christmas spider! Some may wonder what a Christmas spider is. The legend of the Christmas spider goes. Once there was an old woman getting ready for Christmas decorating and cleaning like crazy. She even cleared all the cobwebs and chased the spiders to the attic in anticipation of Jesus coming to visit. But the spider was also excited so when the woman went to bed the spider crept down from the attic. As he climbed all over the tree it left webs everywhere. When Jesus arrived the next morning he saw the webs and knew the woman would be upset so he touched the webs and turn them into silver and gold tinsel. And this is how we came to use tinsel on our trees.
