Purple Water Hyacinths.

They have pretty delicate purple flowers that only last about a day.

These plants are great for shading the water to prevent algae,

add benificial nutrients to the pond and for fish to spawn.

They grow and spread fast when it is hot out, so take care when disposing of them as they can be invasive in open wild beds of water.

Hardy to zone 8 (will survive winters)

I am in zone 5 and have to buy these every year.

The average price here is 3-5 dollars per plant at local nurseries.
I paid 3.99 for 1 plant this year.and already have 15 or so..Thats how fast they grow..

These will be packaged with extreme care on the day of shipping and hand delivered to the post office.
