The listing, Beautiful, Fabric (lined) Handbag..New/Never Used..15 1/2"x14". has ended.

Beautiful, lined fabric..soft and vibrant mixture of colors. The front of the bag has squares that are either appliqued and then hand stitched, or done in cut out work..dramatic affect. The bag and handle are lined and the bag has a zipper in the top opening. The front is also done in four squares up and down, to offer a nice sized bag. Each square is approximately four inches. The handle..also lined..can be adjusted in length by:
1. Folding over and stitching
2. Folding over and using a brooch or other decorative
pin to secure..or
3. Tying into a knot at the top or near the bag for a
unique look.

This treasure was handmade in India and is a standout due to design, fabric, coloring and softness.

MEASUREMENTS: Center length..from very center of bag to bottom is 15 1/2". Width: Center across..14:".

yes, mine is like yours only bigger and much more ornate(almost too much) patchwork and other things are on both sides.

The 15 1/2 was from the center top..to the bottom seam (to bottom of bag).

Nancy, the colors are fabulous. They are vivid, yet have been stone sanded, or some such treatment..so they have a softness, too. I know you love yours. Was yours made in India? Their textiles are excellent. I bought two, thinking I would give one as a gift..this one..but have changed my mind.
