The listing, 1943 Steel Cents, Wartime Emergency Issue has ended.

The pictures say it all. 1943 "steel pennies". These were manufactured in 1943 at all three mints (PDS) Due to the copper shortage WWII was causing. The US simply needed the copper for munitions.
