The listing, Art Deco Style PO Box Door w/Keys has ended.

This is a really nifty vintage art deco style post office box door with the keys. I won it here on Listia thinking I'd have hubs build me a box to put it on and then use it as sort of a tiny little shadow box, but who am I kidding?? He doesn't have the time for that!

I love it's pinkish /tan color, and its still vivid details. There are numbers, but I was thinking someone with a cri-cut or scrap booking letters could make letters with their name, numbers with their address, birthday, whatever.

Many creative uses I'm sure, and if you make a box, you can even lock something in it. :)

The Nitty Gritty: I don't charge for shipping usually, and I usually ship out every 2 weeks, between Saturday and Monday after auction end. I must have your shipping address as soon as you win the auction, as per Listia's regs—there is no protection for either of us if you don't complete this step; http://www.listia.com/account/addresses . Please be courteous to me as well and understand that my time, gas, and money are valuable to me--you have 7 days to fill out your ship info. as Listia requires, and then I re-list/keep the item, and keep the credits. Free ship in USA only, shipping to Canada if you cover the cost via PayPal. I add free tracking whenever possible, but am sometimes unable to due to light weight. Regardless, knock-on-wood, my shipping has been going super fast. :) I'll always tell you when I've mailed, and give you the USPS's ballpark date.

You are welcome, and thanks for your comment--it is very nice. :) The lock and brackets for mounting it inside the box protrude about an inch from the actual door face, so if you were to hang "as is," you'd probably want to mount it on something first, then put a picture hanger or some other hanging device on that, if that makes sense. *But,* you'd still be able to see the mounting brackets from the side, and the lock as well. Personally, I wanted to cover that so I'd get a "clean" side-view, but that's just my OCDness, and hubs just hasn't got around to making me something. Who knows if he will, so I figured I'd re-home it to someone else who likes it.

Aw, thanks, Patti. That is SO sweet, what you said about your hubs. Talents come in many forms and ways, and I'm confident that he has a talent that's unmatched in anyone else! :)

My hubs is a great guy, handy yes, but it's kind of a reluctant handiness, if that makes sense? He built me a beautiful cabinet last Nov. from a picture in a magazine, so I know he can do it, it's just I am pretty impatient, and have waited several weeks and it's one of those "I'll get around to it" situations. I'm trying to de-clutter, so I'm paring down on projects where I'd need him to modify something for me. Especially since he's working extra long hours right now.

So yep, I'm in it mostly for the love too, and because I love his blue eyes. :)
