The listing, GENUINE DENTRITE PENDANT ACCENTED with a FIRE OPAL set in SOLID STERLING SILVER (925) has ended.

For auction is a Gorgeous Genuine Pear Shaped DENTRITE that is accented with a Genuine Fire Opal.
The setting is SOLID STERLING SILVER and is Hallmarked 925.
The Dentrite measures 1 1/4 inch x 1 inch.
The pendant measures 2 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the Dentrite.

Very pretty indeed!! This opal looks does look like an Ethiopian Opal though. Fire Opal's are actually red/orange in color. I'm a huge fan of opal's!! I'll be stalking this one!! :)

Sorry, I'm not very educated on Opal, or the countries where they come from.
The colors in this opal are red/orange/yellow/pink/green & blue.
My pictures aren't very good.

Lol...to be honest, I'm not to sure why its called an Ethiopian opal myself! I'm sure it is mined in Ethiopia Hence came the label however they've been found in other places also so my guess is it must have been found there first.
