LISTIA FOR A GOOD CAUSE! Your bid = a donation to HSUS! This auction is for a large magnet from the Humane Society of the United States, which aids in Animal Rescue, and campaigns against cruelty to animals. (http://www.hsus.org)

This is a tiered auction of a special variety: For ANY winning bid, I will DONATE the shipping fee ($3) to HSUS.

PLUS: For every 100 credits bid, I will donate an additional $1 to the HSUS. The higher you bid, the higher the final donation!

Proof of donation will be provided to the winning bidder as a FWD of the confirmation email from HSUS, before shipping. The donation will be made in YOUR NAME. That's right: You donate the credits, and the initial $3 "shipping", and I will donate the rest.

NOTE: If you need the receipt for the initial $3 donation to actually be in your name, for tax purposes, you are welcome to donate directly to HSUS and fwd your confirmation email as the "shipping payment".

It's a little different, I know, but Listia doesn't currently have their Charity Auction section up, and I have a lot of HSUS fund-raising stuff that I would like to actually put to that purpose. This seemed the best way to do it. :)

I can also offer this BONUS: If you win the auction, and donate MORE than the $3 directly to HSUS, I will put in a Bonus Prize of EITHER an additional HSUS item OR a CD of your choice from my collection (list available), depending on the size of the donation.
