Brand New Cow Girl Boots size8 ladies, I bought these but I cannot wear them. I fell and broke both of my ankles a few ago so my ankles stay swollen. I bought these from shoes for Crews they have their anti slip soles.

Sorry about you breaking your ankles. It can be terribly painful. FYI use balsam fir oils and lemon grass oils on them both and they will feel better right away for sure.

Are they true to size or can a person who wears a size 7 fit them? Your opinion please.....I have a high instep so that may mean I need a bigger size. THanks.

No I'm not wearing compression hose sounds like I should get some. I broken ankles in 2006 and they stay swollen, thank you for the info.

Poor ankles. Are you wearing compression socks/hose? They help a lot. Swelling can last a year, but usually goes away after six months or so. Maybe you will have your thin ankles back. I naturally have ankles like a Clydesdale Horse, and I don't even drink Bud. F&W

When your able to use your foot again. To strengthen the muscles and rehab. Use your big toe and write the alphabet! Upper case, Lower case over and over again as much as you can. As you get stronger make the letters bigger. I've screwed up my ankles so many times its insane. Someone suggested this to me haven't had issues since.

Recently I've had probs with my knees. Been doing my abc's with my whole leg its been working great.

I feel for you Keykilee, I did not have to have surgery on mine, so Bless Your heart I'm not as bad as you. But mine stay swollen, and hurts bad when it rains or gets cold. They can be hard to stand on.

I feel for you. I completely shattered my ankel 2 yrs ago after 7 hr surgery n lots of therapy it's still not right. Hope yours isn't as bad ad mine. How high is the heel?
