The listing, Sunny Fossilized Amber In A Pendant Necklace Set has ended.

There are several pressed fossilized Amber beads in flat 8mm round and 13mm barrel shapes. Just adding some Swarovski faux pearls in grey to match the grey pear shaped drop on the earring and then a number of daisy spacers and bead caps in antique gold in sequences of three plus a separation with the faux pearls, a unique sterling silver snap closure, and the design was complete. The earrings contain fossilized Amber barrel beads and bead caps then drop from sterling silver flat wire, ball end French ear wires.

The necklace measures 17 1/2" in length including the clasp. The pendant and bail drop another 2 1/8". The earrings drop 3/4" from the ear wires.

Designing and creating necklace sets using my Mom's jewelry collection has been a wonderful experience. It's like giving new life to some of the beautiful, stylish pieces that she had accumulated. Amber is such an interesting, beautiful gemstone and is very versatile ~ being able to brighten up just about any outfit of your choosing.

So are you saying the larger beads are real Amber?

I cannot say for sure. The beads look like Amber but I don't have a jeweler anywhere near where I live so cannot substantiate their validity. I realize that you would like a better answer but I cannot give you one. I will attempt to get a closeup photo and post it, but I'm not sure that I can.

I have added a close-up photo. I looked up the description and still couldn't determine authenticity. They have tests but I'm not willing to possibly destroy the necklace. Pardon my facetious comment, but this is not a high money bid like at Sothesby's Auction House, so I guess what you see is what you get.
