FREE: VINTAGE Wood block print cathedral MSU Tower

The listing, VINTAGE Wood block print cathedral MSU Tower has ended.

Really unusual wood block from an old book press. The image is on a metal plate attached to the wooden block. The whole thing has been soaked in ink a dozen times in the course of its life. Really interesting coloring and patina on it.
It is about 3.5 inches tall and just over 2 inches wide. The image is of a building with a cathedral tower in the front with two trees on wither side of the doorway. I don't know what building this is an image of, I just thought it was neat. It has been sitting on my writing desk for about 3 years.
It probably still makes a beautiful imprint if you were wanting to actually put it back into use in your craft or scrapbooks.

EDIT: I've found out what the building is!
It is Beaumont Tower on Michigan State University campus.

From MSU website: College Hall (Beaumont Tower) - The 105 foot collegiate gothic tower was completed in 1928. So revered was College Hall that it can still be seen today at the center of MSU's official seal. Its memories may be heard whenever the carillon bells of Beaumont Tower are played. And so friends, let us honor College Hall. Though gone from these grounds, may it never be gone from our memories.
