Solution: Gain seeds from trustyworthy farmer
(myself) plant- they always grow rampant slightly shaded outdoor (in TX at least- even through 100+ degree days/drought). Grow. Start harvesting when removing leaves will not disturb complete plant homeostasis (they still need some leaves to continue to produce and grow all year) Harvest as much as you like and harvest seeds when seen as similar to above (what you will receive).
Use dry or fresh (I love to steal a leaf off the porch on my way to work daily- the strong sweet- almost too sweet - but non painful if have cavities- i know because i have one. Use whole leaves to sweeten tea, or dry and grind to use as SAFE and HEALTHY sugar substitute! Its actually Good for you too and digestible!!
Get creative- end the use of GMO soy candles and even use in wax when homeaking for a strong sweet scent- best if combined with spearmint or mint! I also have a sugar gum tree- I make my sons on non-toxic (swallowable) gum!!!- Again with mint, stevia, sugar gum and my secret blend- no un-natural preservatives/no artificial crap/not bad for teeth/no corn (again GMO) syrup!!!!
