How's the battery life will it keep a charge

Hi, the battery is very poor. At most it stays for 15 minutes, but the AC power plug keeps the computer on and working.

I have a Compaq C50 with a crashed CPU and a broken power button. I think the batteries can be swapped out.

The recovery section of the computer has not been wiped so it will have programs installed on it still. No, there aren't any recovery disks included. However, just about any program you would want or need could be downloaded from the Internet for free.
