the Horn of plenty or the Downy thorn apple,

is a member of the Soanaceae, or nightshade family.

It grows 3 or 4 feet tall.

makes a great container plant too.

Plant can be over-wintered in a greenhouse environment.

Frilly, double, midnight-purple trumpet flowers with white inside.

Very fragrant especially at night.

ALL PARTS OF THIS PLANT IS POISONOUS..

KEEP KIDS AND PETS AWAY FROM IT.

How easy are they to grow in containers, my wife loves flowers but we live in military housing and are in NY so I want to get her something that can be grown easily , can be easy to grow in containers, and can tolerate being inside in NY.

WOW what a beautiful flower. I grow many of types of flowers. But never seen this one. I'm new to this site and don't have enough to bid yet. Being on SS early due to become disabled. I live off to little to spend on things other then my bills. Sad to say. But, just wanted to tell you how much I loved this flower. I notice you seem to be the gal that has most of the flowers just bid on one of them. But as soon as I hit submit someone else is already hitting it higher. Talk about being fast on watching lol
