No, I hadn't even thought of it :/ But it was just supposed to be a temporary ring anyhow. I got my new ring shortly after this was won. But I'll keep this tip in mind in the event I need to do it in the future :) thanks.

Do you mean will it turn your finger green? If so then no it will not! Gold fill is 100 times better that gold plated.
