Hi everyone. This is a beautiful antique Victorian vanity powder jar. Features a Victorian lady with cherub. Not signed but a beautiful piece I purchased for my fans to enjoy. Large size. Measures 4 inches in diameter x 2 and 1/2 inches tall. I also pay all shipping and tracking costs for my fans to enjoy. Cobalt blue and Gold. Beautiful piece! Please refrain from stating monetary values from other web sites on my auctions. Listia is the only web site where you can find beautiful antique pieces like this. Circa 1800's. This is not chipped. Just a brown spot that I feel can be removed. I always am happy to answer questions however I feel that my integrity eas questioned for no reason. I do not own, or pist auctions ever for damaged or broken items. The gold fesigns are beautiful and not faded as well. If either of you had been sincerly interested in bidding I would have not had to defend my auctions.

After reading these comments I just feel like saying good for you, I can't for the life of me understand why folks need to be so dang picky and upset about things they have zero interest in receiving and if they did they are not paying for them. Normally, these things are measured...length, width, and depth so your 4 x 2 x .5 stated measurements above tell it all, I'd say. Right? Just making sure we're all clear, hun! :) Oh, btw, love this, so unique!

Looks like I made a typo. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. It is 2 and 1/2 inches high. Measuring in a circle around the base is 14.5 inches making it a large powder jar. Thank you for your kind comment too. Fanned you. Good Luck bidding.

I, for one, am genuinely appreciative of your choice in this auction and would be so proud and happy if I were the winner. You are a wonderful lady with a beautiful heart that no one should ever think of breaking or bruising in any way. It is such a travesty that there are such unhappy people on Listia lately that think they must spread their negativity around for now apparent reason! I deeply apologize for the terrible comments you have had to endure! Although I never saw them, I have often been the target of such hateful people, too, so I can empathize with you completely. You are a lady of great integrity who should be treated with the utmost respect by everyone. Those of us who have lived long enough know all too well that there are just certain people who will never utter a kind word to anyone in their entire lives. I, for one, choose to ignore AND BLOCK them and then FORGET them IMMEDIATELY!!! Don't let them bother you so much, because their opinions aren't worth even commenting on, much less taking any heed of!

WOW! There are so many people on here who have no concept that this is not a department store and think they can make crazy outrageous demands like they are paying with their hard earned money ! They got credits for things they don't want and would get rid of anyway . People Please read about LIstia and the rules and get a clue already ! Some do have new stuff but mostly this is like a giant Garage sale . The rest need a pair of glasses to read what is written about the item and to just look at it . Maybe Listia needs new members to write a small exam to see if they understand what this is all about LOL! Couldn't hurt and may set a few straight.
That is heartbreaking that people put garbage on your auction and you have to block them .

Thanks I wanted to make sure you were talking about the circumference and not the diameter. I presumed you were but last time I made such an assumption I was badly surprised. I'm used to people listing the diameter and height in dimensions because for most it gives a better idea of an items actual size. Glad to know I haven't completely lost it. With vintage items i find it best not to clean them as it actually makes the value of the item decrease .. My Aunt is an antiques dealer... I love this piece!!! Very pretty
