The listing, Vintage Item (Germany) Box w/ Detailed Document Inside. has ended.

First I must say that the 3 boxes shown is for information purpose only. I am listing 1 of these on here cause I need help on history of these boxes. I am listing the middle box of the 3 shown. I purchased these of course from a estate sale & it was done on gut feeling being they were so very detailed inside. Then the lettered document inside was the sold part when it was printed in German ( I was assuming at the time) and the date w/ signature. So what I am basically saying here is. I am lost at what I have in hand & if anyone can help me or the huge Listia community in what this is. Death certificate? Birth? The item will begin with a low numbered bid. And shipping is free & fast. So that's all I can give as information. The other 2 boxes I will put away as I have the last 3 yrs. Many thank you's to all ahead of time for any help. Blessings!

OK, I found them at frenchgardenhouse.com. Some were made in Germany, france, Ukraine and other locations. Made of cardboard with ornate design. I found the one with Christ holding a cross (I believe you have it as yellow). I hope this helps you and now you know where to look. Kent

Hi Kent. I had hunted down many sites in which none was any help. There were no photos, no information, no anything. And since EBay was a huge area of many collections of the weird & unknown items & I thought it would bring me something close. Absolutely nothing. So its a item of wonder. I speak a little German and your posting was curious to me, so I used Google Translate for the document. It came out roughly as the below. It is very old German though, and I don't know all of the old German script letters so some of it may not have translated quite right and it is a bit out of order, but it seems to be a baptism certificate.

"a.d. in memory of the holy Baptism

Hi. Your question was kind of mixed in 2 I think. I'll just answer it as 2. First the auction is for 1 box. The middle one only. I just showed all 3 in what was a detailed way in letting all know what they looked like & come in different sizes. Just in case someone might say " Why I seen one of them at my great great grandma's" and then give me a idea of what it is. Something like that lol So I hope that helps.
