I'm glad u agree :)!yes u can get very bad infections if u don't. People who do it with sewing needles paper clips and anything else r just asking for trouble.

Are you including a captive bead ring to use with the fresh piercing? I've always been told by piercers that you should never use a barbell in a fresh navel piercing.

yes, they should i totally agree!! i was looking on you tube one time and they where useing paper clips and sowing needles.lol......buy you can buy do it your self kits off of ebay and misc tattoo sites.

i have heard it both ways the captive ring is suppose to hold it tighter i believe it is really by choice .

@Hemmal you can use a regular navel stud in a new piercing. I am not sure what piercer told you that but it isn't true.
