I have 5 $1 Carl's Jr Gift Certificates. I believe that they are still usable, but I am not sure - they are old. I have called corporate and they believe there should be no issue, but individual restaurants may refuse to take them (or be confused about paper certificates).The fine print on the back reads as follows"
This gift certificate will be accepted in exchange for any Carl's Jr food product in the amount of one dollar at any participating Carl's Jr restaurant. Local and state taxes payable by bearer. May be exchanged only in the United States. "
