Yes-- The make up of these coins (Wartime nickels) is 35% silver-56% copper- and 9% Manganese

The wartime nickel has more silver by weight than a dime..........

I tried to fan but I've reached my limit...watching......The wartime nickel has more silver by weight than a 90% silver dime. Just throwing in my 2 cents worth.
