This is a very pretty Peruvian opal.. My camera brought out some blues in it which really are more of a lilac color so color play is hard to capture. Anyhow this isn't a small stone it's a pretty good size about 12mm by 12mm. I wanna say its about 4 to 5 carats. Like I said the stone in actually more of a misty lilac color with some warm translucent fire to it. It's a very pretty and unusual specimen as far as opals go. This is an all natural untreated stone. I planned to keep this particular one for myself but can't seem to find an affordable setting for it so I've decided to list it. I know a few listians are in to pretty and unusual stones and I haven't seen many like this one in my years of buying gemstones. Also included trillion cut fire opal specs in last two photos.
