Check out my new idea -- This Crocheted Chicken is made of 4-ply yarn, with glued on moveable eyes. The chicken is stuffed with polyfill to create the pincushion. The "nest" is a recyclable aluminum can covered with a crocheted cover. I bet the can company didn't think about THIS type of recycling :0)

This little gal is as handy as a pocket on a shirt -- she'll sit quietly perched on her nest, (won't even cackle) -- just waiting to hold your pins while you sew. And since she is not fastened to the nest -- I bet she'd even hold a few of your buttons in her nest -- or maybe to hide some change - never know what all she could hide.... :0)

She's also a great decoration for Easter or maybe to put in someone's Easter Basket. Also great for table decoration -- or would be a great addition for Chicken collectors. Just whatever you'd like to use it for.

Just a quick note -- my home is not smoke/pet free, but I do not smoke and my husband and pets do not crochet.
