I bought this after having to bail my 3dogs out of doggie jail several times . It's brand new I put the collar on one of my dogs to make sure it was going to be strong enough to stop them (they are pitties) IT WAS!! Due to the type of dogs we have we ended up just installing a wooden fence all the way around our property, so it's just been sitting on a shelf for a year! It has several power levels to match up the "shock" with the type of dog you have it will give the dog a warning beep or buzzing noise first before it shocks them, if they continue to cross then it will send the shock . It also has a setting where it will only make the sound if the animal tries to go out of bounds (works just as good as the shock) It has over 900 feet of boundary wiring and also has a alarm that goes off if the wiring breaks anywhere or if ur puppy gets past the parameters

Van you buy more collars for it if so do you know how much they are thank you I have 2 Chisholm and a labradoodle that run away all the time and torment the neighborhood dogs lol could really use this

It has all its parts if you Google you can get the directions it's pretty self explanitory though you can attach the wire to stakes that are included or you can bury it about a foot and a half under ground

It only has one collar and it comes with 900feet of wire

I just googled electronic fence w-227 and you can get replacement parts or extra wiring and collars I couldnt find the exact price of collars but at home depot this model is $50.00 for the entire set. I got mine at Houston fence for a lil more I think it was right at $100 when I bought it a year ago ,so I would think an extra collar could be more than $15-20 max.good luck and thanks for bidding!

My 'puppy' is a six year old very over weight chihuahua! Lol! Her current collar fits 12-18 inch necks.

It adjusts pretty small also if I'm not mistaken the actual buzzer part comes off of the collar it comes with its pretty big though maybe half the size of a pack of cigarettes about to be home I'll add pictures and weigh it for you. I had a adorable Chihuahua for 8 yrs and he was the biggest escape artist ever and he was feared in my neighborhood if he saw you walking u were getting bit for sure! Lol! Miss him dearly
