The listing, 60+ Quilt squares - Pinwheel design...a legend presents auction has ended.

Up for your consideration, 60+ Pinwheel design quilt sqares. These were hand-sewn by my mother before she couldn't anymore. She was an excellent seamstress and had has these around for a few years. She finally decided that she would never finish it. Your gain. The squares are just shy of 8-inches by 8-inches.
Photo #1 is just to show the design of the squares. Photos #2-3 are actual pictures of a couple of the sqares. They are all very pretty in various colors as you can see. She ironed them and they are all ready to be set and sewn. I really hate parting with them but I have had them too long. I finally realized that I will never have the time to finish the quilt. I hope that they will go to someone who can. Please feel free to ask questions. I try to check in everyday at least once to field them.

I thought about it, talked to a few people, but in the end it never worked out. It is hard to part with them but I have several very beautiful quilts my mom made. This way I can share her art.

I REALLY do want these! It will be a pleasure to make a quilt knowing loving hands formed the squares! Memories from my childhood, piecing by hand. Not only memories of learning to hand piece quilt tops but also of the pattern & the look of the fabrics. SO .... I'm clicking my heals together (red shoes of course) and saying "There's no place like quilting" ....... : )
