308 this piece is absolutely marvelous! and there was no way to capture the glow from these stones! this is a bit different stone than i have ever seen before, because it literally looks like it lights up and glows from the inside! this has ab stones, for the larger middle ones, but the rest of the tree is a different stone that i cant even explain untill you see it. this is what they call a faux moonstoone which was created in the late sixties, to the late seventies by a very extensive process. this may be a little more info than you may want, but let me explain as i do know my rhinestones. these stones would first be polished, then set in a acid bath briefly, then fired once again. a process which to my knowledge is not being used today. probabaly due to the amount of time, and chemical usage. this piece is clearly vintage from at least the seventies, because of its high quality prong settings, done up in what appears to be a double chrome bath. this lovely and its pretty sister comes to us from the same ware house find, that we found the rare hollycraft production pieces from the fifties. this marvelous piece measures in at almost two inches, you will be very happy with this piece! if you like neat jewlery at great prices you will love my other auctions!
