The listing, 4 Heart Ornaments made from Old Quilt, #5 has ended.
Up for bid are four heart ornaments, one small and three medium, made from a vintage quilt that had outlived its usefulness as a quilt. The quilt had wear and holes in several places, but from the good areas I cut these cute little hearts. Most of the original quilting had worn away; what you see are my stitches. I stitched around the outline of the three of the hearts, embroidered a flower in each, and added hanging loops. On the fourth heart I did blanket stitching around the edge and added a hanging loop.
The second photo shows the same pink fabric that was on the back of the quilt, and the third photo shows the size of the hearts.
These would be great to use for ornaments, as primitive decorations, for scrapbooking (just cut off the hanging loops), or other creative uses.
You get all four hearts shown. (See my other auctions for other hearts.) These are a bit thinner than the hearts in my other auctions; a very thin flannel sheet was used in this pink quilt as the batting.
Note: I only ship to Listia-verified addresses in the U.S. and I use regular first class mail with stamps and no tracking. If these conditions are unacceptable to you, please don't bid.
Please let me know when your items arrive so I can leave feedback for you.
Thanks for your interest and good luck!
