All my hippies out there already know that hemp is a miracle plant, but I want to spread the word to those who may not!

Hemp (not weed, pot, marijuana, mary jane, etc) comes from the Cannabis plant and is useful in many aspects (not including as a mood or mind altering substance, all you'd get from smoking it is a headache!)

Hemp does it all! From simple craft cord like I use in my bracelets, to textiles such as fabric for clothing (it's overall a more sustainable crop than cotton, using no pesticides & half the water, as well as creating more breathable, durable, and soft fabrics) to paper (an acre of hemp produces significantly more paper than an acre of trees, and it grows back faster, too!) to building supplies (hemp does not mildew or mold, it can be used in insulation as well as in a "hempcrete" blend to create walls which are sturdier and longer lasting than those made with traditional concrete).

Hemp seeds and oil are also highly nutritious to the body and there is anecdotal & scientific evidence that adding hemp to your diet makes you a healthier body!

Did you know that Henry Ford's prototype of the Model T was made of a hemp-plastic, and also designed to run off of hemp fuel? Imagine, sustainable fuel for our homes and cars!

So now that you know why I LOVE to work with hemp, I hope you will help me in spreading the word! Many people do not realize that hemp could save our planet, many wrongly believe that it is the same as marijuana.

The more educated we become as a people, the higher we can ascend above the murk of debt and destruction!
