is it 2.4 Ghz or 2.3 Ghz because this router is usually 2.4. also, does it have speedboost?

That is a WRT54G, are the antenna's detachable? I Like the ones that have detachable antennas.......

Yes they re detachable. They unscrew by hand.

I am not tech savvy. Please explain how this work's. I am on dial-up. Does it help me to get wifi or what? I live too far out to get highspeed from any where. TY!

It won't improve your signal. It is intended to send the signal you have to other computers in your home. A router help you establish networks.. You can share a single Internet connection.with all the computers you have. This router does it without wires between each of them. It works wirelessly.. Does this help you?.

you cannot use thsi with diaL up unfortunately it works with like wifi, cable internet, or satellite internet, but actually if you call a company like hughes net , or wild blue, they can get u internet in the middle of any woods, where there is only dialup, it goes through a satellite dish , just noticed your question and thought id give my input, it a nice router though

Thanks for your help. I answered through another page. I used Wild Blue with this and was less than satisfied. Outages were frequent, but anything is better than dial-up.

I actually have wild blue and it never goes unless it rains, i very happy with it, maybe it depends on where u get it Ive had it for a few years, and i love them, but you are RIGHT ....ANNNNNYTHING better tahn dial up , ahhhhhh, good luck to me for this auction woohoooo
