The listing, ..** VINTAGE Cameo Large Charm **.. has ended.

This is a very old antique cameo charm. It is large, about an inch tall and inch wide, give or take. The outline is gold, with a peach inner and white face. It was passed down to me by my boyfriend's great aunt whom is 99 years old. This is very beautiful and great for the collector, or anyone. Happy Bidding! =]

From what I am aware, I don't think so. I don't know much about it because it was passed down to me by a great aunt who is very old. I wish I knew!

Is the cameo stone or plastic? Carved or molded, It's hard to tell. if it' stone it is a real cameo, from before the 50's.

It is definitely stone, but I don't really know what you mean by carved or molded but if I had to say I would say carved. I am pretty sure this quite old. My boyfriend's great aunt has had all her belongings forever, she never got anything new. She still had all her furniture that was from the 1930's and when we were cleaning everything out of her apartment my boyfriend's mother (whom is almost 70) was remembering everything from when she was a child. Sadly, my boyfriend's great aunt passed yesterday morning at 99.

To be clear, anything over 25 yrs old can be considered "vintage", but to be an antique, it must be 100 yrs old. Bye the way, this is one of the prettiest cameos I've ever seen.

A real cameo is stone from Italy, some are shell but not as expensive and the cheaper ones are molded, and made of plastic. .

Well I know it isn't plastic as for the stone and Italy and all that, I don't know the exact specifics of this cameo, as I have said in the above comments it was passed down by my boyfriend's great aunt and I never got to speak with her about it.
