This is an auction for over 30 Yellow Poinciana seeds Peltophorum pterocarpum (AKA (Copperpod, Golden Flamboyant, Yellow Flamboyant, Yellow Flame Tree).
It is a deciduous tropical/subtropical tree that can grow from to 15-80 feet tall, some have been seen to grow up to 160 ft tall, trunk 3 ft in diameter. THESE TREES WILL GET BIG
This is a tropical tree, they will DIE IF THEY FREEZE FOR TOO LONG, USDA HARDINESS: 9-11, however, has been seen in zones 7 & 8. I live in zone 9b, our tree is over 75 ft tall. Can be brought inside if live out of zoning during freezes or if kept in greenhouse.
They belong to the Family Leguminosae, the bean family so it does have seed pods that do fall off the tree).
However, the blooms are a gorgeous, brilliant yellow & the foliage is made of delicate little leaves.
