This auction is for a c.1950's Alabaster Hinged Ring Jar Handcrafted in Italy w/Roses on Top.the jar is 2.5" tall and 2.75" in diameter. Some used these bars for powder, others for "trinkets", but this shape and size is referred to as a "ring box."
